This book was beautifully described through thought-proving metaphors and depictions of whimsical and gorgeous scenery, I felt like I was there!

Not only was Ivy a complex main character, but she developed throughout the book beautifully as she uncovered more about her identity.

Author of enchanting, romantic fantasy

I’m the 26-year-old indie author of The Girl Who Swam Between Worlds (The Maiden Saga, Book 1), a whimsical, cosy, and mysterious YA fantasy. I've spent my entire life swimming in fantastical worlds experiencing epic stories alongside heroic characters, and that passion for reading lead me to complete a Bachelor of Creative Industries (Creative Writing and Publishing).

After having a few years free of study where I worked tirelessly at writing and publishing my debut, I am now returning to the University of the Sunshine Coast to pursue postgraduate education, where I’ll be completing my Bachelor of Creative Industries (Honours) in the field of creative writing in 2026.

As for my future writing endeavours, I am slowly pottering away at book two of The Maiden Saga at a pace that works for me and with no release date in sight. I write because it’s what I love, and I’d rather take my time without losing my love of writing in the process, even if that means readers will have to wait a bit longer for the next book in the series.
